Pont Jacques-Cartier_32 x 85 in. created in 2013 was the first work which led to the Bridges series. The choice of steel with unique patterns is part of each composition. James paints with acids on the metal surfaces using different techniques in the creation of his work; photography, laser cutting, silk screening, etching.
